Advising and mentorship are integral aspects to supporting my students’ learning and development as they pursue their academic and career goals. As faculty, I advise students in the Political Science Minor and Interdisciplinary Studies Major programs. I approach this role from a holistic perspective, providing mentorship to each individual student and supporting their academic and career planning.

I am also co-advisor for the Chadron State International Club and Familia (Spanish Language & Culture) Club. As co-advisor for the International Club, I support CSC’s international students with informal mentorship for their academic and career goals and supervise students’ event planning endeavors. In my co-advisor role with Familia, I support students’ efforts to practice Spanish language in weekly meet-ups and introduce Latin American cultural heritage through campus-wide events.
